Interpreting

When the speaker and the listeners speak different languages a language barrier makes almost impossible the proper communication. Here’s where we come in through our interpreters that will remove this barrier and make communication become easier and more accurate.

There are two types of interpretation:

      •   Simultaneous interpretation
      •   Consecutive interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation

As the name suggests, this takes place in real time being the most common type of interpretation because of the significant time savings that can be achieved. The interpreter listens and translates simultaneously, without pause, while keeping the pace and ensuring accuracy.

Consecutive interpretation

Consecutive interpretation enables the interpreter to hear the exact words of the speaker and reproduce them exactly to the listener. Pauses between phrases allow the speaker to make annotations and to rest his voice for a more exact and accurate reproduction of the speaker’s words.

Why choose the services of a professional interpreter?

Taking into account the variety of situations in which you would need an interpreter and the complexity of the process, it’s very important to hire a professional interpreter mainly because:

     •   Communication is the most important factor that can determine the success of an event whose participants speak different languages.
     •   Misunderstandings can appear when communication is done in a language known more or less by participants.
     •   The speaker, under the specific conditions of that event, sometimes fails to choose the proper words to express his ideas although he knows very well the language that other participants understand.
